Semester 4 Week 5

Again plagued by life. Had to do an emergency move to a new apartment that took up the entire weekend on top of my car’s catalytic converter failing. I’m hoping both of these will be resolved soon as I am really starting to feel the time crunch. However, I did manage to make really good progress on my 3D model for the character development class. Not sure if I’ve mentioned it at all at this point, but ZBrush is a really interesting program that I’m warming up to. Absolutely hated it week 1! The character I’m working on came from an Avengers spoof game idea I had a while back where the roster would consist of superheroes that incorporated their day jobs into their outfits. The specific one I am working on is Mailer Daemon, who is a mailman mixed with Daredevil. So far I have been focusing on the headgear which includes a face mask and a mailman cap with devil horns sticking out of the front above the bill. I will have to start looking more into Marvelous Designer for the rest of the clothing…
