Concept: “Motion Scrolls“
Brief
The thought of panoramic scrolls providing “immersion” in comparison to the mediums we have today is boggling in retrograde. However, there is an element of some of these scrolls that invoke the excitement and chaos of a Where’s Waldo? book that I think could be visually appealing if animated on a large screen and emulating similar art styles of the old panoramic scrolls.
Interaction
As mentioned above one of the elements I like about the isometric or birdseye view pictures are that there is so much detail to pick apart and stories to find in them. With the panoramas animated some of the imaginative elements could dissipate, but it could potentially pull in more viewers in comparison.
